So California just Legalized same-sex marriageI mean, this is just the first step; soon other states will be legalizing it [thank god for Massachusetts, or this could have taken a whole nother century. @_@] it'll spread through the more liberal states and then the conservative ones will begin accepting us, too.
And I'm just.. ecstatic. I can get married. MARRIED, without moving to massachusetts or Canada. I can actually be with the one I love someday, in a sacred union, committed to her for life. It's just.. the most joyful feeling, knowing that I won't have to grow up and have a 'life partner', I can just have a wife.
